NJCEC's Annual Spring Conference

When is the conference? Friday, May 2, 2008.

What time? The registration table will open at 8:00 a.m. Come early for a continental breakfast and a chance to visit our vendors! Both product vendors and representatives from special education programs will be available. Workshops will begin 9:00 a.m. and end 3:00 p.m. You are then invited to attend our board meeting, immediately afterwards.

Where?     Sheraton Edison Hotel - 125 Raritan Center Parkway, Edison

Why should I go? Our annual conference is a great chance to network with your colleagues and share their ideas and techniques! It's also a perfect opportunity to become involved in CEC - stop by our table and a member of our Executive Board will be happy to speak with you. AND, if you're an NJEA member, you can pick up an NJEA Certificate of Attendance - we are proud to announce that our conference is endorsed by the NJEA Professional Development Institute! Earn hours towards the 100-hour requirements!

How much is it?  $75 for members, $90 for non-members, $100 at the door and $50 for students/parents.

How will the day be organized? 50 or 100 minute workshops will run concurrently throughout the day. Pick up a program at the registration table for presentation descriptions, times and locations. You can register for specific workshops that morning. A delicious and gourmet style lunch will be served midday.

What's for lunch? A sit down luncheon will be served. Vegetarian requests will be accommodated.

What if I need special accommodations? The NJCEC is strongly committed to hosting a fully-accessible event. Please indicate any accommodations you may need (sign language interpreter, etc.) on your registration form and we will make arrangements for you.

Staying overnight? Contact the Hotel directly at (732) 225-8300.

I registered, but can't attend. Can I get a refund? Refunds will be offered until April 2, 2008. Since we need to confirm our numbers with the hotel at this time, we are unable to offer refunds after this date. Your understanding is appreciated.
